In the digital age, where everything is given to you—sound effects, images— we become passive subjects, losing our own capacity to be creative and free. It seems more complicated to connect with the reality of others or with anything that requires active participation, like reading.
In his sculpture, there is a reconnection with a book, with a story, with other people’s lives… and with your own imagination. Being able to hear the bells again announcing something, not far from you, connected to you… because the bells tolls for you too.
