ArtHall – is a new art gallery opening in the centre of Victoria, Gozo, by Marta Obiols Fornell who is the General Secretary of the Philosophy Sharing Foundation.

Marta, who is from Barcelona, has a licentiate and Master in Philosophy, as well as a degree in Theology. She said that the idea of the gallery is to offer a space for exhibiting local and international modern art in Gozo. Marta explained that “the ultimate aim is to promote groundbreaking, avant-garde, ironic, and provocative art for the general public of Gozo and Malta.”

The first international artist exhibiting at ArtHall is Tomas Hed, who is from Sweden and lives in Gozo. Under the title `Perspectives,’ Tomas will present different ways of being in the world, pointing out the genuine characters’ views in his creations.”

The gallery is located at 8, Triq Agius de Soldanis and the vernissage will be held on Friday, the 13th of July at 8pm. The opening to the general public will be on Saturday, the 14th of of July from 10am till 1pm and 4pm till 6pm. The Exhibition will remain open to the public until September.
