Vietnamese art from the 90s presented in new Arthall exhibiAn exhibition on – Vietnam Art – had its opening night on Friday at Arthall, Gozo. It attracted a large group of visitors all interested to view the 90s Vietnamese art on display.

Art collectors Hans Friederich and Bee Bonniger, who were living in Vietnam during that period, presented to those present, unique figurative paintings from different Vietnamese artists, lacquered art works, ceramics, as well as old traditional puppets from the Hanoi Water Puppet Theatre.

The pieces on display tell a tale of Vietnam’s rich artistic culture and showcase some fine work from Hanoi.Vietnamese art from the 90s presented in new Arthall exhibiArthall said that they are also helping to finance a primary school in Ethiopia and during the Vietnam Art exhibition the gallery have two artworks by Mario Cauchi for sale.

Mario is a member of the KILIMANJARO CHALLENGE 13 expedition (KC13) in aid of the Gozitan missionary movement – ‘Movement Missjunarju Gesu fil-Proxxmu.’

Previous expeditions have raised money to help with the construction of schools, clinics and a house hosting 100 physically disabled deaf and blind children, all in Africa.

This time the KC13 expedition will be fundraising to collect €100.000 to finance a primary school in Bonga, Ethiopia.

Mario has produced two pieces of art as part of his fundraising efforts for the Bonga School Project.
