Ollie, as he prefers to be known, graduated in Law and Philosophy from the University of Malta with a keen interest in Law and Information Technology. He has never practised law but has had a career in university administration and systems working with a number of universities worldwide. His interest in this subject matter is purely personal and was triggered by the censorship in Malta of an English play “Stitching” back in 2009. The talk will explore themes around blasphemy and in particular whether communities have a right not to be offended.
