Woman that survived – Art performance at Arthall, Gozo
Woman that survived – is the title of the next art performance taking place at the Arthall Gallery in Victoria, Gozo.
The performance is by Izabela Klara Biskupska, who is an international artist and performer of Polish origin. Currently she works on the Island of Gozo as hypnotherapist and coach @transformwithizabela.
Woman that survived is an art performance using human body, voice, photography, video and lyrics to express the deepest feelings and emotions of a Woman. The performer will create a live painting that would be exposed to a silent auction afterwards.
The date to keep free is Friday, the 28th of October, starting at 7:30pm, at Arthall: 8, triq Agius de Soldanis, Victoria..
The entrance fee is 8 euro and can be purchased the same day of the event at the gallery or before at the same place. It is recommended to reserve the ticket at firstname.lastname@example.org as there will be a limited number of participants.
The gallery explained that the guests will be invited to take a glass of wine and sit down or walk around the gallery remaining in silence. It will be projected images on the wall and there will be music.
The artist will be covered on the floor and will start her performance, expressing emotions through her body, voice and through a canvas that will be provided for the occasion. The event will not be visible from outside the gallery.
Guests are asked by the gallery “not to interfere with the artist, avoiding conversation and physical contact.” Following the performance it will be a silent auction for the painting.
The artist has requested that the guests to switch off the mobile during the performance.
The gallery said that, “it will be an experimental night for the artist and for the guests, since the result is unknown and subject to the moment.”
Arthall’s opening hours are : From Wednesday to Saturday from 10-13 and 17-19; Sunday from 10-12.
